Wooh... what a game, what a win. I felt a shiver down my spine as Henry scored the winning goal and Ashburton Grove erupted. Sensational. And it looked as if Arsenal have just won the title though the fact is that Man Utd are the runaway leader this season, and deservedly so. They have been magnificent this season. I remember how we were totally outplayed by Utd last season, and the season before. We won the FA cup despite being outplayed for 120 minutes. But I think we deserved our win last night. Well.. maybe this game didn't mean that much to Utd as they were already 6 points apart from Chelsea but I suppose Utd being Utd, they did want to win last night.
Anywayz.. the game had many interesting moments. Ronaldo vs Clichy moment, Ronaldo's yellow (can't help pitying him.. ), and Lehmann's ridiculous time wasting. van Persie scored a fabulous goal but Henry's goal, though not that spectacular, was the greatest moment of all. The captain had not been playing well and I had been scolding him all night long but in 93, he scored. No wonder he looked so relief.
And so did I, and my bro. Even iwan was shouting as the ball went in. We couldn't believe that! No one would believe it if you tell them before the game that Utd would lead by a goal in 53, and Arsenal would score an equaliser in 83 and in 93, Eboue would CROSS the ball for Henry to HEAD in. Arsenal don't cross and Arsenal don't score from header, everyone knows that. Well.. not anymore. And we are telling all and sundry, Wenger's third generation team have finally arrived.
All in all.. it has been a great night.
