Been an eventful day heh.
Went to my new company during lunch time, sign my contract, smile here and there, and went back to office.
Then tender my resignation, a short conversation with my boss who knew long ago that I was quitting. Done.
So I only have to wait to see when they are going to release me.
So I am now officially civil servant in a month time.
And in 30 minutes.. I will be leaving for Changi. And tonight.. I will be home- home in its most original definition.
Feel bad coz I am leaving my team, they are such good people. But we all move on right?
I have long wanted to lash out at my boss or the HR, wanted to tell them how I felt undervalued bla bla bla but sigh.. I ended up feeling sorry, apologizing that I quitted in the end..
After all.. I have been taken care of here, enjoying my nap every day for 1.5 year, and given free time to blog, write, etc.
This job is such a comfortable one. But that's also why I had to quit.
Kinda nervous for my next job. I mean.. this is my third job and this is the first time I hear someone telling me "We are very pleased that you join us and we are very excited to have you in our team"
Gosh.. I felt the pressure to perform right from that moment she said that. I must learn her skill, making people feeling good about themselves and driving people to do well.
All in all.. thank God for His faithfulness.
