It was by 'accident' that I come to know this song.
It was accident in my eyes, yet it was definitely not in His.
My dad was far from being perfect.
Yet.. I wonder sometimes.. whether I can even be as good as he was.
He was totally flawed, yet.. to my five years old eyes,
he was a great man.
Because he told me wuxia stories every night,
I come to love writing and story-telling today.
Because he always encouraged me not to run away from fight,
I have the courage to stand my ground against the odds.
I am not sure what sort of legacy I will leave,
but today I am assured that there is one thing that my dad never had,
one thing that i could do for my child-to-be,
i can pray this prayer for his sake every day.
