I am not sure if the two of us will ever truly come to common understanding one day.
I too, have given up on trying to go the distance and 'fix it' in many occasions lately.
When it seems that there is misunderstanding..
And it seems that the other party has decided on taking whatever action he/she deems fit,
I just let it be and shrug it off.

I never forget this verse from the first time I read it.
But it takes me so many years to finally agree with it. Now.
Jesus spoke of the weary who carry 'heavy burdens'..
I guess this is one of those heavy burdens we are not meant to carry.
It's not our job to fix all the broken relationships and misunderstanding.
Some deserve it and some don't. Some are meant to be and some aren't.
In any case, we learn that we owe no one nothing. And that way, we are liberated.
Live our life and devote our heart for the precious few who matter.
