Never a fan of David Beckham, football wise.
As Myles Palmer put it, Beckham is never a great footballer.
But England will have to stand up and notice this:

There are players who often bottle it when it comes to important matches, someone like ehm.. Thierry Henry. But there are players who take on the stage and shine when it matters the most. Beckham is one of those.
What he lacks in skill, he makes up for them with his character.
