posting to tire my eyes and got me sleeping

this week has been my most physically active week for quite some time heh.

two session of doom2 (i won't propose dance performance anymore for anyone's wedding after this =P ),
one session of sembawang flyer throw,
and job-wise, has been here and there, Choa Chu Kang and Changi, south and north,
and finally, 'dropped dead' today at 8 pm right after another round to Choa Chu kang.

And now i am awake -_-

For buffet hunter out there, if you wanna try something different,
you may want to try wake up early on the weekend, and stroll to delifrance outlet for their morning bread buffet (8-10AM, fri-sun) at $8 only. u must know that when a buffet from such a famous chain come at $8, u shouldnt expect much variety, but at least.. u can expect quality.

yeah i am thinking of doing that tomorrow, somehow.
but considering that i am awake now.. the chance is small.

other than delifrance, at below $10, u could also go to rajah inn at tiong bahru during lunch time.. not so much of quality but value for money.

if u got 10-15 bucks to spend for buffet, go to chilli padi behind bugis junction. quality peranakan stuff! if u r into variety and value, go for quality hotel buffet at balestier, or joaqin porridge buffet at suntec city.

between 15-25, u can practically go to most common buffet like sakae, seoul gdn, etc. strangely i have no particular preference for this price bracket, maybe coz most of the buffet restaurant in this bracket are for the mass market.

and if u got 25-35 bucks budget, try either the korean or japanese buffet at the top of suntec city.

my best buffet so far has been carousel, rite opposite of our beloved hyatt hotel.
now they r priced at $40++ but trust me.. they are real quality!

above $50? I haven't reached that point ^^ but maybe can try 'The Line'.

kay.. as the title suggest.. i am just trying to continue my sleep so..
i will go to sleep now.. and hopefully wont have to 'kembali ke laptop'.

Too Wild at Heart?

Here.. is an essay written against John Eldgredge's controversial book, Wild At Heart. The essay is quite heavy on theology, but it certainly worths reading to balance ourselves if we were to read Eldredge's book. I believe Wild at Heart is one of the best books I have ever read but all the same, I always felt that it is also one of the most dangerous ones. John Eldredge is one of those blessed with talent to come up with words so powerful you will nod your head in agreement without digesting them, most of the times. And that's why I love the book so much. But I suppose Eldredge is only human. He, like many other servants of God, has the tendency to swing towards the extreme of his own belief that sometimes, they (or we) fall into this trap of 'creating God in our own image'. I believe that the essay in itself has flaws and my own opinion, definitely, also has flaws. Geez I am not even a Theologist. But ultimately, none of us has that complete wisdom to understand G

Ichi Rittoru no Namida

As Aya's condition gradually worsen, she could no longer walk or stand anymore. She would sometimes choke when she eat and she struggled to speak. There was only one thing that she could do, albeit which much difficulty. She could still write. One day her mum visited her at the hospital and seeing her struggling hard to write her diary, her mum asked her to rest. But she said.. "Okaasan.. you said that I can still write right? That's the only thing that I could still do. I have to write what I have in mind now because that is the only prove that I am living today." Even when she could hardly hold her crayon, she would still write her diary. I do not know whether the movie followed the true diary content but in the movie.. Despite the diary began with her questioning why she had to be the one to suffer from this cruel disease, it sweetly ended with a word: "Arigatou". Thanking her parents and siblings for being there right to the end, thanking her friends for
