No the title has nothing to do with Beyonce's song =P
I just thought the song was good.. catching her singing in the ellen show (who i think is more comfortable to watch, compares to Oprah).
Well mamita is..
a lady who comes to our house now and then to do housekeeping.
i am not sure why i decide to write this.
probably it's the impressively neat room of ours that inspires me.
for those who have been to braddell.. they know how messy me and my brothers are.
but no matter how messy we would get,
mamita will take care of it.
she has never failed, not even once.. to change our disaster room into a decent one.
maybe that's the gift of a woman.
but i am pretty sure that we have never had such an incredible housekeeper like her.
for a start.. she stays in private condo while we stay in hdb ^^
and secondly.. she is honest.
when my life ends.. i would think of amazing people God has allows me to meet.
like my family.
and some of my NUS friends..
and mamita.
she oft reminds me of how God..
in similar way..
in all His grace, would equal all the mess I made.
and turns my life around.
everytime i pushed Him away,
and begin my xxx'th sequel of the 'prodigal son' story,
He would wait for my return,
complete with all the stain and mess,
and He wouldn't ask where I got all those,
or how, or why.. coz He knows.
instead, He would take me in and cleanse me.
and He never fails.
but mamita will not be there for me forever,
and God's patience, is not something to be taken for granted.
so this year, my daily prayer would be Moses' one.
that God.. you would grant me the wisdom to number my days,
and to make the most out of it, with You.
