Is 28 Days Natural?

The book I am reading, 'What the Dog Saw', has a lot of interesting stories to learn from.

For example, one of the articles was inspired by this statement:
It is not 'natural' for women to menstruate every 28 days, or every month if you will.

Ok.. let me first clarify this. I am not, and have never been interested in such topic. I only found the article to be interesting. Just in case anyone doubt my gender conviction ^__^

According to some research, women in the past, or those currently living in relatively primitive tribal environment in Africa, would normally have significantly longer period for their menstruation.
It's the food we are eating (especially those KFC and McDs), and the environment we are living in, that expedite women's puberty age and shorten the menstrual period.

I thought it was peculiar because in Indonesian, we even call menstruation 'datang bulan', a reference to monthly nature of the event.

But apparently, the monthly occurrence is not really natural. It's 'usual'.
And I believe a lot of things nowadays, those we think are 'natural', are not really natural. It just becomes usual.

Though I must say that when it comes to marriage, things around me have not been usual lately.

We got a girl who just cancelled off her wedding.
She got everything ready- invitations, gowns, hotel, etc.
But for reason I can't publish here, she decided not to go ahead.
In any case, may God reserves for her a better future.

Now.. at the other part of the globe,
we got 1 bride-to-be who are doing everything and anything, ethical or unethical, to make sure that she got married. Gosh -__-
No.. we don't know this girl that well.
I wish I do. Coz I really want to ask her,
'how come like that one??!!'

Good things

Good things happen recently ^^ Not so much for me though lol. Well, my NUS fren got engaged last week. She has been with her boyfriend for quite a while. Both are genius.. congratz2... Then yesterday was the most shocking one... coz I always thought all was just jokes.. congratz to the two FA frens of me. Surely love works in the most unpredictable ways. Of course the previous couple from FA was also shocking to me for different reason haha. Anyway, glad to see them happy. I dunno if Friday's dinner is gonna be good thing but I know that this is really going nowhere. Sigh.. so it seems that we are going nowhere while the others have moved on. Anyway, was having a great FA session last night. Eve shared on how God used her the night before to help cast out demons for her friend. So she was sleeping over her friend's house, they were chatting till almost 3 AM and then the topic became serious and her friend wanted to be set free from the devil spirit inside her. At first Eve was ...
