I pray and hope you too will resonate with this as you pray for God's guidance in 2016.
One thing I come to learn at this point of my journey is to always meditate on the Word with all my understanding, as imperfect as my understanding is.
No matter who the preacher is. Even if its John Piper. They too, are human.
Different people will come up with different perspective.
And in trying to understand the revelation behind this, I ask God to help me continue to put Him in the centre.
Not my wish, not my desire, not my self importance, preference or fantasy.
May you have that zeal and joy to walk with the Lord too this year.
be it Jericho, be it wilderness...
as long as the Lord of Host is walking with you, it is all well.
May the Lord alone be your shield and your exceedingly great reward.
