The 23th
Watched Narnia on the Friday nite, thanx Jo for the treat =D Well the movie is not that bad if you can set your mind to think the way a 12-year-old would, in fact it would make a sweet fairy tale. But for adults the movie is just too straightforward and plain. I like Lucy though. And I like the part Aslan walked away after the coronation of the four kids. Lucy had wanted Aslan to stay but Tumnus told Lucy that Aslan isn't a tame lion. He comes and goes as he wishes. But one thing for sure, He will definitely be back. So is God. He is not a tame God who you can order to bless you as you wish, whose presence you can demand as you see fit and so on. But one thing for sure, He'll be there in your time of need.

Had a good lunch at Siam Kitchen with housemates and ended up spending er.. 21$!! Well the food is not bad though. It's not cheap but then the six main dishes should guarantee you a full stomach.
Initially planned to watch Guo Jing and whatever vcd/dvd I have on Christmas eve but ended up accompanying Rita and Vivi at Indochine. Well we had some fun conversation and I got kinda tipsy after some drink. The first time I felt my heart beating that fast and the second time I got all these stupid rashes @@ Now I know I shouldn't drink and I am glad. Anyway, thanks Vi for the drink, been great time there.
Though I have to comment on the people spraying like crazy that nite at Orchard. As I said I am never a Christmas fan as it gets so commercialized that people abbreviate the six most important letters into X-mas.
Still I felt sad when I look at those people, spraying madly and swearing at each other.. they looked so vain, and stupid. Surely they don't give a damn what that X in X-mas was all about, and surely that's the reason that X never asked us to celebrate His birthday. He only asked us to celebrate the day He died for us. The time we walked out of Indochine, Orchard Road was a mess.

I didn't set any alarm to wake me up for the church service on purpose as I was sooo tired. But God being sweet, He woke me up exactly on time to attend 10.30 service. And then came the night, Christmas dinner on elsa.. at their house. Woo and indeed hoo. Finally, some turkey, pork knuckle, and ribs. We even had pasta and the fries was nice. She initially thought that the food wouldn't be enough but we ended up wasting lotsa food, still feel sorry for the waste.. kinda guilt-feeling I guess. Thanks elsa for the great great dinner. And after that, played the Taboo game. It gets heated at times but I guess that shows their passion lol ^^
Then after some persuasion, we played the Polar Bear and got hooked and ended up spending the nite playing that till 7 AM @@.. which explains why I spend

Sleeping and sleeping..
Got Arsenal on TV but didn't really feel like watching. Watched anyway, 1-0 to the Arsenal.
So there you go.. back to the office with this holiday mood. Struggling to reach the next long weekend. Not much on the agenda though..
