one of the greatest things about this country is its excellent governance.
sure they may not always come up with popular policy, and they don't support the jobless the way some of the western countries do.
but their policies are directed towards nurturing resilient and competitive Singapore citizens.
and they would make sure that as long as you are willing to learn and work hard, the path to a decent future is always affordable and available to everyone.
want to have an unpredictable future where sky and hell is not even the limit? that's my country ;)
well i am not paid to speak up for Mr Lee's government, but i recently visited WDA's website on darvin's recommendation. I went thru the list of skill upgrading programmes offered and geez... there are so many interesting ones. and WDA are prepared to pay for 90% of the course fee should you get into one of those courses.
so far the most interesting ones for me are the scriptwriting course and the restaurant manager course (by university of las vegas).
there is diploma course for pastry chef as well.
i couldn't find the casino management course though, unfortunately.
