Another top notch movie from Pixar, imo. Though not as consistently charming as Ratatouille, i think Wall-E is actually a harder movie to make. It's not too difficult to fall in love with a cute lil mouse. But an ugly looking robot?
Having heard dian's comment, I think it's important to note that unless you are able to appreciate the idea of a robot falling in love with another robot, you should avoid watching wall-e.
For me, i was touched seeing how wall-e hesitantly move closer to Eva (who I thot was actually quite sexy heh), how wall-e's shaken hands were trying to reach Eva's cold steely hand.
The simple beauty of holding hands.
It draws better emotion for me, compared to those humans in other hollywood movies who lock lips, strip and charge straight to their bed at any given time.
