Bla bla bla

Was thinking, if xia xue is a Taurean, and sillycelly is a Taurean, and we are all almost born on the same date, in fact I was born like three days before sillycelly on the same year. So yeah.. was thinking, maybe I also could come up with a marketable blog and better still, like xia xue, make blogging my profession. You know, maybe I got that gene somewhat inside.

But having seen those famous bloggers, I have to admit that some of them are really really good with their writing. The two I mentioned above can sometimes be very creative. *Kow tow. While some of the rest are good with their sexy pose. If I were a girl, a pretty one, I tell you I will do just that. Put on a blog, thrown in all my best pics, and if I dunno how to write, get a good writer to help me to come up with great posts. And ultimately, turn into a blogger who earns money a la xia xue. What a good life!

But to be honest, I could never grasp the idea of sharing my life story with, like, another 10.000 who I don't even know in real life. Of course, I can always make up stories ^^

Anyway, although sillycelly is good and xia xue is hugely popular, I, for some reasons, prefer blinky mummy. While f**k is probably the only swearing you will find in the former two's blog, you would get ten times more colorful swearing from blinky mummy. She even uses what talkingcock.com describe as the rudest hokkien swearing of all.

So by right I shouldn't prefer her blog. But somehow I do. I dunno why.

Rite.. back to reality.

Hadi has just accepted my company's offer and very soon we will be colleague, although I don't think we will be in the same team. Good luck to him then! And congratz to my company for acquiring such an intelligent employee.

Oh did I mention that a month ago, my bro joined a physics competition and turned out second? They (it's a team of 2) beat the supposedly better schools but then the champion was even the less known school, Ananda. Anyway, he got a HUGE trophy, much much bigger than any trophy I have gotten. Too bad the school keeps it. They are allowed to borrow to duplicate though ^^ Damn proud of him. He may look lazy and indeed lazy, but he is damn smart lah

Ya.. talking bout achievement.. I remember I got a friend called Chiki when I was primary 4. I went to jakarta that year, got into kanaan school, and got to know him. He was a genius. We 'locked horns' time and again. It was damn exciting. Every exam was like a battlefield. And I always lose out to him. He always outscored me but for once.

We were primary 5 and again, got into the same class. My teacher told me that time, that she was getting bored of seeing Chiki dominating the number one for years. She said to me "I want to see you change that. I know you can do that." And so I did. I don't remember how, but I did that, for once.

Ah.. I miss that moment. I want a battle! A worthy battle.

Father

I am reading the book "Wild at Heart". One of the most striking points that the author made was that of how many, if not almost all, men are most severely wounded by their own father. You would have thought that your dad will be the one who believes in you when everyone else is doubting you. You expect him to do so. Coz when he does, you know that it ain't matter even if the rest are against you. So when it turns out that he is siding with those who doubt you. It hurts the most. It kills off your hope. It strips you off your courage and belief to be a real man. Because the man who is suppose to show you how to be a real man, the one whose approval matters the most.. does not side with you. He loves you.. yes. But a father's role is not simply to love and nurture. He is more than just that. He is your assurance, stronghold, strength. He leads you into adventure, he fights with you side by side, he shows you how to rescue a beauty. When your father of flesh and blood ca...

journal: a little update

wow I am actually back to this blog. between Apr 27 2018 and now.. what has happened? I officially proposed to my girlfriend (wah.. trust me you gonna miss that word), got married, and.. became a dad. yeah.. all in a matter of less than 2 years. now when you consider the fact that in 2015 I would not have the slightest idea how things would turn out, it just goes to show how life changes in a blink. How is married life? Well.. I am one of those who has pretty pragmatic view when it comes to marriage. I have seen enough to know that relationship is messy. So.. I must say marriage has been way way better than my expectation hah.. For example.. I knew that my wife is a smart woman. I knew some of her shortcoming too.. (and there are some I didn't know till we got married, of course) BUT... here's the big bonus. I didn't know she can be that adorably funny in her own way. Not funny like a standup comedian funny but.. you know.. she makes me laugh. Trust me....
