I dunno why I feel like putting up this on the day I am about to go to Japan. But I am still so touched by the part of Chinese Paladin I watched last Saturday. So I will talk about this wuxia series.
I don't really follow the story in TV coz I never really like wuxia with all the animation effect like Wind and Cloud. That is despite the fact that those series usually are filled with all the pretty girls. The Chinese Paladin is adapted from game. Yes, PC game. The story is partly wizardry with all the demons and partly romance. The romance part is about the main character who as usual is torn between two pretty girls.
The girl in smaller pic, supposedly the most beautiful girl in the story, is the one the hero ends up with. The girl in bigger pic (Yue Ru) is actually the one who sacrifices the most for the hero (the stupid guy whose face was also in the pic) and ended up giving her life to save him. We guys are sometimes stupid and always go for the girl with smaller pic. Sigh..
Anyway, someone posted the some of the touching dialogues in the movie, and I must say there are quite a number of touching dialogues.
One dialogue is from where Yue Ru is about to die, and saying her final words, "I'd never expect I'm already that old", which is a reference to the promise the hero and she made earilier (together they will visit all wonderful places and taste all delicious gourmet until they're too old to carry on).
The other one (which I happened to watch last sat and happened to squeeze out some of my precious tears heh..) being the butterfly fairy Cai Yi's words when she was about to sacrifice for her husband who has never loved her (her husband loves Yue Ru. irony.. irony..) "It's not about whether it's worthy, it's only about whether I'm willing".
I guess this life and this world is beautiful and worth living because of people like this. People who have the courage to do the unthinkable. Those who go against their logic and go the extra miles in the name of love. It can be love for someone, or your hobby, your country, or your God.
I really think so..
Anyway.. The small pic girl is Liu Yi Fei and Yue Ru is played by new actress An Yi Xuan.. who has potential to be my next fave actress^^
Okay now.. 2 more hours to go and I will be going home. Check out my digicam and hopefully it can gives good performance. Get the remaining 10% of packing done. Feel anxious for the next dunno how many hours. And off we go.
